Founded in Tokyo in 1996 by Tetsu Nishiyama, one of the key players in the early Ura-Harajuku movement, WTAPS was and continues to be heavily inspired by military wear. Slam Jam – which has been selling WTAPS since 1998 - remains one of a select club of only 16 worldwide stockists of the brand.
