We decided to embark on a trip down memory lane. While we’re not too familiar with French manners in the late 1700, we surely love Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola. We went back to the iconic backstage photos of Kristen Dunst and Jason Schwartzman listening to something on a Macbook in their full attire.

It looked comfortable, so we stepped it up.

The Asics Gel-Kayano line has been shown endless support through the years, the line originating in 1993 and still pushing out new models. For this shooting, we picked the UB9-S Gel-Kayano 20. The shoe’s style was curated by Kiko Kostadinov Studio and Asics SportStyle development team, drawing inspiration from themes of Interlaced Assemblages, Functional Utopias and Mino Ceramics.

It resulted in grid-like patterns and bold opaque colors. Vibrant Yellow and Silver, Crystal Pink and Red. Colors that can stand the test of time, much like the Mino Ceramics aforementioned.

Double-layer mesh that becomes ground for colors and metallic nuances to fit seamlessly.

At the end of the day, while fashion trends may come and go, true comfort and
quality endure.
